Throat Spray

DIY

I’ve been making this throat spray to use in winter for over 5 years, it’s something I always have on hand in case of any sore throats that come on in the household.

It is saved me so many times from getting sick, at the first sign of a sore throat, I do 2-3 sprays every few hours and most of the time the sore throat has gone by the next day and often never eventuates to anything! It has been my saviour literally!

The essential oils of oregano and onguard especially are extremely anti-viral and antibacterial and work so well to help to kill off viruses and bacteria in the throat (think amazingly powerful conventional throat spray alternative). The clove oil in the onguard helps as it is an analgesic slightly numbing to help ease a sore throat.

It’s very easy to make and you can use a base of water or colloidal silver. Water and oil don’t mix you just need to make sure you shake it each time before you spray in your mouth.

You’ll Need
50ml glass spray bottle
5 drops onguard essential oil
1 drop oregano essential oil (only 1!)
2 drops lemon essential oil
Top with water or colloidal silver

Method
Mix your oils and water and/or colloidal silver in the 50mL spray bottle. Use as needed

Note: these 3 particular oils have many uses other than using it in a throat spray - everything from cleaning, daily detox, using in a diffuser, and other great ways to use in winter to boost your immune system.
